Since the beginning, Coca-Cola has always kept close links with the apparel industry. Collaborations with Adidas, Converse and Kith are all memorable, who brought us some big fashion goals back in time. But, with the announcement of this latest partnership, we’ve already found space in our shoe wardrobe, and believe it or not, we’re pumped about the bones.
Collaboration comes as Bata and Coca-Cola share distinctive red and white colors in their logos as well as ideals of honesty, culture and confidence. The Bata Tennis range includes a Coca-Cola design, painted in white on a red Canvas with Coca-Cola in every language written on them, which occupies the whole upper part of the shoes and suits the pipes and laces.[sc name=”yuvaaninarticlenew”]
Meanwhile, the remodeled iteration of the Hotshot, first released as a basketball shoe in 1972, features the popular colors of coca-cola in two separate color variant types. The first model is a colorful off white edition with red stitching, buttons, side and back design, as well as large pipes all over the foot. It’s also coming with Coke’s iconic tagline, the “true thing”.[sc name=”yuvaaninarticle”]
In a statement to A+M, Bata’s spokes person said that the items had been sent out to select micro-influencers as it was a “perfect way” to get the general public to speak to them and get raw input on the new range. New shoes were also planted on social media sites to help create awareness on the line[sc name=”yuvaaninarticle”]
